Never before have I heard such a exquisite marriage of black metal and dungeon synth...not a standard case of synth track followed by metal track but both together at the same time and WOW is it impressive. Everything about this album has me in awe of the quality on display from the grandiose sound design of epic synth's and fast drums to the fantastic cover art by the incredibly talented Silvana Massa. Ädäm "Age of Darkness and Frost" is very reminiscent of Summoning, but with a much more subtle basic orientation. Overall it´s a very solid album. Favorite track: Through the Channelling of Souls.
